Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens Elopements
Brisbane City Celebrants love performing elopements at the Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens, with a fantastic variety of lush greenery filled and lake backdrops you are spoilt for choice.
While the Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens have official ceremony lawns that can be booked for standard weddings to accommodate a number of guests, with an elopement you have the freedom and flexibility to pick a spot you like and if it's available on the day, we can simply set up and you can tie the knot.
These two lovebirds opted to elope in Brisbane at the gorgeous Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens in the presence of just 2 witnesses. Small intimate elopements are so relaxed, enjoyable and stress-free and we love these photos of the bride and groom beaming with happiness.
To keep their ceremony small and intimate, they opted to have their Photographer Jon from Blank Canvas Photography as one of their witnesses and we love seeing how he captured their special day here.
Congratulations to the happy newlyweds!
With his bride to be based overseas for much of the wedding planning process, the thoughtful groom planned this sweet elopement at Mt Coot-tha Botanicals Gardens Lovers Jetty.
It was the perfect spot for post wedding photos too.
Brisbane Wedding Decorators who specialise in styling ceremonies and ceremony set ups were on hand to perfectly decorate the jetty with hanging fresh florals lining the aisle and fresh floral arrangements on the alter.
Evoke Studios were on hand to capture the Mt Coot-tha elopement taking place, followed by post wedding photos around the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens.
Congratulations to the happy newly weds on your elopement at Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens.
Mt Coot-tha holds a very private and somewhat secret designated booking site, called the Bush Chapel. Accessible via a short uphill walk, this little known about bush chapel surrounded by tall trees provides privacy and romance. The area has built in log seating, perfect for a small number of guests and can be booked through Brisbane City Council.

With so many picturesque spots to choose from at Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens, this couple opted for a lakeside elopement between 2 trees for their relaxed, short and simple wedding ceremony.
Another spot by the lake at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha for elopements is this piece of land that juts out in to the lake as pictured here. Popular with picnickers and less private, this area may be better suited to an early morning elopement when the park is quieter.
